1. It has been brought to the attention of Ecological Project Office (EPO) Management that some unscrupulous individuals fraudulently sell acknowledgement letters issued to them for receipt of project requests to unsuspecting members of the public in the name of project approval.

2. For avoidance of doubt, acknowledgement letter for receipt of project request is not the same as project approval.

3. The general public is hereby warned to desist from transacting any business with persons parading acknowledgement letters from EPO as this document does not translate to project approval. Anyone who transacts such business does so at his or her own risk.
