SENATE PRESIDENT COMMENDS EPO ON PROJECT INTERVENTIONS, PROMISES SUPPORT FOR IMPROVED FUNDING

The Senate President, Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio has commended the Ecological Project Office (EPO) for its numerous interventions on ecological problems across the nation and promised that the National Assembly will assist the office in whatever way required to improve the funding of its project implementations.

The Permanent Secretary, Ecological Project Office (EPO), Malam Shehu Ibrahim, mni has expressed delight over call to partner with relevant stakeholders to tackle the ecological issues in the country, stating that partnership is key in the resolution of common issues.

TRADEMORE FLOODING: FG SEEKS HOLISTIC APPROACH TO SOLUTION.

The Permanent Secretary, Ecological Project Office, Malam Shehu Ibrahim has stated that the Federal Government will deploy a holistic approach to tackle the menace of flooding in the Trademore Mega-City Estate and its environs.

He disclosed this during an on-the-spot assessment tour of the flood ravaged Estate and its environs today , Monday, 26th June , 2023 following the torrential rains witnessed in the Federal Capital Territory over the weekend.
