Profile Of The Permanent Secretary EPO,

Dr Aishetu Gogo Ndayako was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in 2023 and currently serving as Permanent Secretary in Ecological Projects Office after serving as Permanent Secretary Ministry of Interior from January to August 2024.

Dr Aishetu Gogo Ndayako was born in Lagos to Late Etsu Nupe Alhaji Umar Sanda Ndayako CFR and Hajiya Hauwa K. Ndayako (Ninwoye Nupe)

She had her primary education at Capital Primary School, Kaduna, and proceeded to Queen Elizabeth Secondary School Ilorin.

Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako attended the School of Basic Studies for her IJMB A Levels; then attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree (DVM).

She has an MSc in Poverty Reduction and International Development from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

She has attended various academic and professional courses globally.

She commenced her public service career at National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP), Lagos before being deployed to the NAPEP Headquarters Abuja where she served in various capacities. Subsequently, she served at various Federal Ministries including the Federal Ministry of Finance in International Economics Relations (IER) Department; Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at the Project Coordinating Unit (PCU); Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Federal Ministry of Works and Housing as Director, Special Projects Unit (SPU).

She is well travelled and has attended Courses and trainings all over the world.

Over the span of her career, she has worked with Local Communities; State Governments; Donors; International Development partners; International NGO’s and National NGO’s to implement strategies that alleviate poverty and help to improve the wellbeing of the common man.

She volunteered with the Nigerian Air Force Officers wives Association (NAFOWA) in various capacities and is currently a pioneer member of the Governing Council of the Ahman Patigi University, Patigi, Kwara State Nigeria.

She is a recipient of many awards including an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration from the University of Entrepreneurship and Technology, State of Delaware, USA. Fellow, Association of Nigerian Pubic Administrators.

She is married to Air-Vice Marshal H.R. Mohammed rtd (Baraden Nupe) and the marriage is blessed with children.

Her hobbies include positive engagement with youth and youth Counselling; Girl Child development, Indigenous language and Cultural preservation, traveling; reading; volunteering and kinesics.
